Roxas City Property Forum The City of Roxas, once known as the municipality of Capiz is the capital of the province of Capiz. Ports were constructed in Libas and later in Culasi.

In 1569, Captain Diego de Artieda who was sent by Miguel Lopez de Legazpi from Cebu, landed on the town of Pan-ay and proclaimed it as the capital. Later the capital was moved to its present site upon discovering that the town of Capiz was near the sea where they can have better docking facilities. The Spaniards saw the long coastal cover and envisioned a trading and shipping center.

It's time for the longest-running Visual Art Exhibit in the Province of Capiz - PINTA CAPIZ YEAR 12 featuring works of Capisnon artists that dive into the thoughts, notions and cultural significance of water! 😍

Fiesta Taliambong, the local celebration of the National Arts Month, brings you PINTA CAPIZ: A Visual Art Exhibit Year 12. Opening tomorrow, February 18, 2022, 4 PM at the Right Wing Area of the Ground Floor of Robinsons Place Roxas.

The visual art exhibit will run from February 18, 2022 to March 4, 2022. Make sure you drop by and witness Capisnon artistry with your own eyes!
