ROOM FOR RENT — HOUSE POLICIES
Rent Payment
Rent must be paid in advance before the date of occupancy or before the agreed due date.
Late payments may be subject to a reasonable late fee, as agreed in the rental conditions.
Valid ID
One valid ID is required before move-in.
Utilities
Electricity, water, internet, and other utilities will be handled according to the agreed arrangement.
Tenants are responsible for paying their share on time.
Cleanliness
Keep the room and common areas clean and sanitary.
Dispose of garbage properly.
Tenants are responsible for damage caused by negligence or misuse.
Visitors
Visitors are allowed only during reasonable hours.
Overnight guests require prior approval from the owner/landlord.
Tenants are responsible for their guests’ behavior and any damage they cause.
Noise and Respect
Keep noise at a reasonable level, especially during designated quiet hours.
Respect other tenants and the privacy of everyone in the house.
Smoking, Alcohol, and Illegal Activities
Smoking is not allowed inside the property.
Illegal drugs, unlawful activities, and behavior that endangers other occupants are strictly prohibited.
Pets
Pets are allowed only with prior approval from the owner/landlord.
Safety and Security
Always lock doors and windows when leaving.
Do not give house keys/access codes to unauthorized persons.
Report maintenance or safety problems immediately.
Property Damage
Do not intentionally damage or alter the room, furniture, appliances, or other property.
Repairs or replacement costs for tenant-caused damage may be charged to the tenant.
Moving Out
The tenant must provide the agreed notice before moving out at least one month notice.
The room must be returned clean and in good condition, except for normal wear and tear.
Agreement
By renting the room, the tenant agrees to follow these policies and the terms of the rental agreement.
Any changes to these policies should be communicated to the tenant in advance and must comply with applicable laws.
