Ledesma Group Plants 600 Trees

As part of its continuing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, the Ledesma Group, led by Ms. Ina Ledesma, conducted a tree-planting activity in Hda. Fortuna on July 30.

The activity brought together employees of the Ledesma Group, the staff of Congressman Jules Ledesma, and officials of Barangay Buluangan, demonstrating a shared commitment to protecting and preserving the environment.

A total of 600 tree seedlings were planted during the activity. The varieties included Palawan Cherry Blossom, which was planted along the roadside to enhance the area’s landscape with its vibrant blooms, as well as Calumpang, Narra, Molave, and Mahogany trees, all known for their ecological, environmental, and long-term economic value.

The initiative aims to contribute to reforestation efforts, improve biodiversity, and create greener communities for future generations. It also reinforces the importance of collaboration among the private sector, government, and the local community in promoting environmental conservation.

The Ledesma Group expressed its gratitude to all the employees, volunteers, and Barangay Buluangan officials who participated in the activity, emphasizing that every tree planted today is an investment in a healthier and more sustainable future.
