Why Pampanga?
The country's first airport railway at the Clark International Airport🇵🇠Clark Airport Underground Station of the North-South Commuter Railway(Clark to Calamba, Laguna)

As shown on the photo, the columns along the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway and the underground tunnel for the Airport Station are now visible. This is part of NSCR Phase II project from Clark, Pampanga to Malolos, Bulacan. The NSCR Phase III (Tutuban to Calamba, Laguna) is expected to begin construction in mid 2022, while NSCR Phase I (Tutuban–Malolos) is said to be operational by year end or early 2023.
The entire 148km North-South Commuter Railway connects the regions of Central Luzon, Metro Manila to Calabarzon. It will be the first Airport Express Rail link in the country attaining a maximum speed of 160kmph(semi-high speed)
