The Metro Rail Transit Line 7 (MRT-7) is finally on track to revolutionize Quezon City and Bulacan commutes after years of delays. The goal of MRT-7 is to reduce travel time from several hours to just 34 minutes by constructing 14 stations across 22 kilometers from North Avenue in Quezon City to San Jose del Monte in Bulacan.
San Miguel Corporation (SMC) has joined forces with South Koreaβs Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) to handle the maintenance and operations of the system. Test runs are anticipated to begin by the End of 2025, with full operations scheduled to start in 2026.οΏΌ
