""MY ADVICE WHEN SEARCHING FOR A NEW HOME
THINK LONG TERM
Remember that you'll probably spend the rest of your life there. Don't just think about the price. Think of your convenience and comfort as well. So if a unit on a certain location costs a bit extra but your security and preferred amenities are right at your doorstep, that's definitely worth it.
KNOW THE PLACE AND KNOW YOURSELF
Check out the place first and feel the vibe whether it matches your own. If you feel peaceful and calm within that particular location, you're on the same level with it then.
USE YOUR IMAGINATION
Take photos when you visit the unit and try to imagine what color will you paint the ceiling and the walls, what kind of tiles and curtains will you add, and try to vision what the place will look like after adding your furniture in.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE FREE TRIPPING
You may join us for a free tripping and we will not force you to buy. And rather than just getting feedback from the agent, you can ask around and see what the neighbors has to say. (Ask them whether it's flood-free, ask about the transportation availability, the overall status of the place, etc.) That way, you'll have an idea what your everyday living will be like when you move in.
BEWARE OF FALSE PROMISES
Be mindful of the other people telling you their offer is way much better. If it sounds too good to be true, sometimes they probably are.
MORE THAN JUST AN AGENT
Measure the person's "after sale service". Our job does not end even after the client made their reservation. If you need further assistance, should the need arise, he or she must lend a helping hand.
WHAT MAKES A HOUSE A HOME?
Choosing for a house that perfectly suits you takes a bit of time and moving to a new place requires big changes so it's not just your decision to make. You have to consider not just your own well-being but your family as well. If getting a house will have you render extra work for hours and will have you spend only a little quality time with your family, don't do it then. Talk it through with your family and weigh the impact it will make for everyone. Their opinion is as important as yours.
ENJOY
There's an old cliche "you should enjoy the journey, not the destination". Yet when searching for a new home, it should be both. Do not stress yourself too much. Have fun looking at different model houses, different stair types and various window designs then try to compare. It will give you a better idea of what you are really looking for. Who knows, the right one is just around the corner!
