On the Rise: Seafront Residences

For most people, the concept of a “dream home” is formed at an early age, but realised only later in life. A house by the sea is one of the most common preference, and with this vision, AboitizLand builds its first residential development in Luzon. The Seafront Residences, as it’s called, is a 43-hectare exclusive beachside residential development at the entryway of San Juan, Batangas.

With the aim of allowing more Filipinos to realise their dream of having a home by the water earlier in their lifetime, AboitizLand tapped world-renowned partners for the Seafront project. Internationally acclaimed master planners, DPZ Partners LLC of Rosemary fame designed the development, while SC&A Architects and Planners adapted DPZ’s plans to the Philippine setting. Meanwhile, Budji Layug and Arch. Royal Pineda of Budji + Royal Architecture+Design came in for architecture and interior design, Crearis Corp. for landscape and architecture, and GHD Pty Ltd for site infrastructure and utilities design.

The whole development will open in three phases, and is expected to accommodate 800 homes and serve more than 1,000 residents. Meticulously planned and curated, each house is a five to ten-minute walk away from an amenity. With lush greenery all abound, homeowners will get to enjoy breezy, well and naturally lit homes with wide green landscapes. Every three or four-bedroom home opens up to a diamond-shaped park— with each space measuring up to 20 metres—where children can play freely and families can interact with one another. Also within the community are commercial spaces that cater to the needs of its residents, and are all within walking distance from the houses.

“Seafront Residences will address the need for adventure and at the same time give a sense of the familiar. Families will be given an experience that will allow for fun memories and priceless moments in their own homes within a well-designed community by the sea,” said Rafael Fernandez de Mesa, First Vice President of Operations.
