QUARTERLY FIRE SAFETY PREPAREDNESS – SWIRE ELAN SUITES
Swire Elan Suites regularly participates in fire safety preparedness activities conducted in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to ensure that the building, its personnel, and residents are adequately prepared in the event of a fire or other emergency.
The quarterly fire safety activities serve as an important opportunity to assess the building’s emergency preparedness, reinforce proper evacuation procedures, familiarize occupants and staff with designated fire exits and assembly areas, and ensure the proper operation and readiness of fire protection equipment and systems.
During these activities, BFP personnel provide guidance and evaluate the building’s compliance with applicable fire safety requirements, while building management and staff are reminded of their respective responsibilities during an emergency. The activity also helps identify potential hazards, operational gaps, and areas requiring corrective action.
For Swire Elan Suites, these activities demonstrate the building management’s commitment to maintaining a safe, prepared, and fire-resilient community, where both residents and employees understand that fire safety is a shared responsibility.
Regular fire safety activities and documentation are also important in maintaining compliance with the Fire Code of the Philippines (RA 9514) and its Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations, which require appropriate inspection, maintenance, preparedness, and documentation of fire safety measures.
