The grandest and biggest chess gathering in San Mariano attended by almost 90 chess enthusiasts (kiddies and open division) across Region 2.

Organized by SAN MARIANO CHESS ASSOCIATION (SMCA) and sponsored by SK Fed. Pres. Roneil Alchris GTagle, LnB Pres. Eduardo Viernes, VM Dean Anthony Domalanta, and LGU SAN MARIANO headed by Mayor Edgar T. Go.

Ito yung almost 1 month preparation, nakakapagod pero worth it. Looking forward for an event like this. Eldridge Layugan

SAN MARIANO CHESS ASSOCIATION 2024 YEAR-END RAPID CHESS TOURNAMENT

Ending the year with checkmate-filled tournament that establishes greater bonding among SMCA officers, dedicated players, and supportive parents.

The success of the tourney would not be realized without the immense support of our sponsors, SB Marivic Buguina Sumisim and Sir Jan Carlo B. Sumisim, Architect Kevin John Espiritu, Sir Arthur Simplina, LnB Eddie Viernes, Sir Emmanuel Perante, Sir Reeve Lucas for the provision of 2 chess mats, and for the food and drinks Ate El Jhing Justo of EL CUISINE, Ate Austine Misagal and Ma'am Salette.

TATAK SAN MARIANO

Congratulations to the following players who garnered awards during the 2024 Philippine National Children Chess Championship held at Alicia, Isabela:

5th place (U-10 boys)- Prince Zeus Q. Salaguinto
6th place (U-10girls)- Pauleen Austin

Meanwhile, Jessywhill R. Labiano, Iah Sampang, and James Jimenez also participated to the said event and recorded remarkable wins.

This tournament is participated by some of the players from the entire country.

The whole San Mariano chess community is so proud of you all.
