Blog: The Return of the Analogue World
I am writing again in order to polish my style, grammar, spelling, and sentence/paragraph organizational skills.
In Vlog...yes you can say so much in such a shorter time frame and thinking wherein...nobody reads postings, books, blogs, or even newspapers nowadays.
But writing is different. It can leave you with your own perspective of imagination. There will come a time again, wherein people would go back to reading, like what happened to Vinyls from digital mp3.
We have to be warned, in case of a global world war, all digital will cease to exist and we will be left alone with analogue world again. Meaning, reading hard copy maps, instructions, or messages by using a pigeon.
The digital spectrum is only good with the presence of the internet and hard drives. And in a second, a geek hacker can shut down everything with a single virus, and destroy all our beloved files and pictures, plus your countless followers and bashers.
I had notice as well, that there are more people inside bookstores as compared in previous years. Thinking, wherein, you can watch everything and anything in Youtube.
In recent years, Vinyl sales are way up, than any audio media being sold, competing with Apple Store, and other digital media sellers.
Besides the quality audio sound of analogues and vinyls, people love to hold an Album in their had, rather than storing a digital song in their hard drives or cellphones
Of course the transition is slow. It usually starts with the Learned, Intellectuals, Geeks, Heretics, and the Privileged, who always starts the trend, and who always see the beauty and advantage of a certain fad or lifestyle.
When Apple first came out, it was the opposite to what it is now. Only open minded people appreciated and bought apple, due to high price and different software, plus it does not match with Windows. But now, it has become the norm of society to have an Iphone or Apple Computer.
I was born and raised in the Analogue world, and saw the transition, to what it is now. My generation has witnessed the greatest change than any generation that ever lived on Earth, from Rotary Phones to Cellphones, and analogue to digital, plus of course the existence of global connectivity, the Internet.
I exactly remember, how the internet started. I was a part of it and studied Networking LAN and WAN, during the early 90's in the US. From Dial Up via landline connection, then to Coaxial cable, then to DSL, then to what it is now with fiber optics.
Technology change became so much faster, with competing softwares and connectivity, trying to capture the global market. If your brain is slow and stop adapting, then its goodbye world for you. Even if you buy appliances now, there are lesser instruction manuals in the box. If only they print " Go figure out for yourself...stupid".
