Before Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa showed up at the Senate on Monday, May 11.
There was a pronouncement from SILG Jonvic Remulla na walang ICC warrant of arrest for Senator Bato but only a subpoena from the NBI.
It was a CLEAR attempt to make Senator Bato believe that he is going to be protected by our government or perhaps, a desperate no-brainy approach from a dramatic SILG secretary para tuluyang ma kidnap si Bato at maisurrender sa ICC...
Pa as if that he has no knowledge about the ICC warrant at nagpapanggap lang na “subpoena”lang kuno ang meron sila pero ang totoo ay pilit lang nilang itinatago ang warrant of arrest ng ICC.
But Senator Bato is not an idyot. In fact, the SILG, the NBI, and the entire administration of Marcos Jr., was yet again seen as a laughing stock — super lameduck talaga.
Fu €d up all over again. Akala kasi nila magagawa ulit nila yong ginawa nila kay PRRD noon.
Senator Bato showed up not for his safety but he understood his assignment. He understood when the right moment is and when he is badly needed, he made sure his partymates and allies can count on him even if his risking his freedom and a risk to be shipped to the Hague for good.
Without Senator Bato's vote, it is nearly impossible for a change of leadership in the Senate.
Senator Bato and all of his ally senators including the newly joined majority members of the new SP Alan Cayetano showed the Marcos admin how it is done.
Ipinakita nila kong gaano ka inutile ang Marcos admin despite all the weaponization of the institutions and the combined resources they have to go after their enemies. Kita niyo naman kong gaano pinahirapn ni Senator Bato ang mga NBI sa habulan sa Senado makapasok lang sa plenary at makaattend sa isa sa pinakaimportanteng session sa bansa.
While pro-admin vloggers and mainstream media were too focused on the running at muntikang pagkadapa sa hagdan ni Senator Bato at pagtawanan. Pero ang totoong nakakatawa ay ang kawalang control sa sitwasyon ng mga tao ni BBM at consistent sa pagiging inutile nito.
Pero sa dulo, nalaman natin na merong officials docs of the ICC warrant of arrest na ang NBI at sa desperasyon ni pambansang tanod ng ICC he losses himself and showed the document in public bypassing the DOJ, SILG, and the entire lameduck administration.
To Senator Bato, thank you for your courage sir. Thank you for showing up during this difficult times. It's all worth it in the end. 👊🏻
