Si City Councilor Atty. Cacel R. Azarcon an chairman sa Committee on Good Government sanan Committee on Rules, waya aprobahi sa committee level ang pipila ka ordinansa ug tagpabalik sa Barangay na gigikanan ug sa City Legal Office.
Madumduman na sa ika-29 na Regular Session sa Sangguniang Panlungsod nan Lokal na Panggamhanan sa Surigao adtun July 25, 2024, pipila ka mga resolusyon an gipapasa ni Atty. Azarcon para ipabalik sa Barangay ug sa City Legal Office an mga proposed ordinance gikan sa opisina ni City Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II.
Apil na dinhi ang:
-Resolution No. 173 A resolution Remanding Barangay Ordinance No. 02, Series of 2024 To the Barangay Sabang and/or the City Legal Office for Refinement.
-Resolution No. 175 A Resolution Remanding Barangay Ordinance No. 05, Series of 2024 Entitled โAn Ordinance Regulating Rental Fees For Beach Cottages to Barangay Mabua, Surigao City, During Special Occasions and Holidays and Prescribing Penalties for Violation Thereofโ To The Barangay Council of Barangay Mabua and/or The City Legal Office for Refinement.
-Resolution No. 176 A Resolution Remanding Barangay Ordinance No. 001, Series of 2024, Entitled โAn Ordinance Imposing Taxes, Fees and Charges Pursuant to the Provision of the Local Government Code (RA 7160) And Providing Penalty for Violation Thereofโ To The Barangay Council of Barangay Libuac and/or The City Legal Office for Refinement.
-Resolution No. 177 A Resolution Remanding The Barangay Ordinances to the Barangay Council of Barangay Silop and/or The City Legal Office for Further Refinement.

-An Ordinance Creating the City Information Technology Office , and Providing for it's Tasks, Functions, Personnel and Appropriation, Thereof , and for Other Purposes
-An Ordinance Creating the Tricycle-for Hire and Trisikad Franchising Office under the Office of the City Mayor, Amending for that Purpose Section 2 and 3 of Ordinance No. 294 Series of 2009 , Appropriating Funds Thereof and for Other Purposes
-An Ordinance Creating the Property Management Office under the Office of the City Mayor, Providing It's Duties and Responsibilities, Appropriating Funds Thereof and for Other Purposes
Tagpaklaro ni City Mayor Pablo Yves L. Dumlao II na inin mga ordinansa, parte lamang sa mga plano sanan programa nan Lokal na Panggamhanan para sa ikalambo nan Siyudad sa Surigao.
Sa kasamtangan, taglihok sab sa opisinan nan City Legal sa pagpanguna ni City Legal Officer Atty. Lex Silvosa an pagtabang sa mga barangay para makahatag ug dugang na mga refinement sanan pag usab base sa resolution na tagpasa sa Sangguniang Panlungsod.
