PHIVOLCS ADVISORY: Tsunami Information No. 1 MINOR SEA-LEVEL DISTURBANCE😱😱
Phivolcs advised residents in Biliran, Cebu, and Leyte to stay away from the beach and avoid going to the coast following the magnitude 6.7 earthquake that hit Cebu on Tuesday night.
"People whose houses are located very near the shoreline of these provinces are advised to MOVE FARTHER INLAND," the agency said.
Phivolcs also urged the owners of boats in harbors, estuaries, or shallow coastal water of the above-mentioned provinces to secure their boats and move away from the waterfront.
