Isa ito sa mga tanong na madalas kong marinig.

At sa totoo lang, dati rin, akala ko kailangan mo lang isipin ang protection kapag may asawa ka na o may sarili ka nang pamilya.

Pero habang tumatanda ako, mas naiintindihan ko na ang buhay pala ay hindi nasusukat sa civil status. 😅

Single ako.

Mahilig akong mag-travel. ✈️

Mahilig sa outdoor activities.

Gusto kong i-enjoy ang buhay, gumawa ng memories, at sulitin ang mga opportunities habang bata pa.

Pero habang ginagawa ko lahat ng iyon, may isa rin akong realization:

Ang pagiging responsible ay hindi nagsisimula kapag may asawa ka na.

Nagsisimula ito sa kung paano mo pinapahalagahan ang sarili mo at ang mga taong nagmamahal sa'yo. 🥰

Bilang anak, alam kong ayaw kong maging dagdag na alalahanin sa pamilya ko kung sakaling may mangyari sa akin.

Bilang isang taong may mga pangarap, gusto kong protektahan ang mga bagay na pinaghihirapan ko.

At bilang isang taong mahal ang buhay, gusto kong maging handa habang ine-enjoy ko ang journey. 🥰

Kasi ang totoo:

MYTH:
"Insurance is only for parents or married people."

FACT:
Protection is for anyone who has dreams, responsibilities, goals, or people they care about. ✅

Hindi mo kailangang hintayin ang "perfect timing."

Hindi mo kailangang hintayin na maging mayaman.

At hindi mo kailangang hintayin na maging handa ang lahat bago ka magsimulang magplano.

Dahil ang paghahanda ay hindi tungkol sa edad o status sa buhay.

It's about wisdom.
It's about responsibility.
And it's about love.

Habang bata pa tayo, habang malakas pa tayo, habang marami pa tayong gustong marating—mas maganda ring maging handa.

At habang ginagawa natin iyon, huwag din nating kalimutang i-enjoy ang buhay.

Travel.

Spend time with family.
Create memories.
Laugh often.
Because living fully and planning wisely can go hand in hand.

Single man o may pamilya na—ano ang isang bagay na ginagawa mo ngayon para sa future self mo?

Let my business provide opportunities for others.

Let it help families.

Let it support people who are struggling.

Let it become a channel through which Your goodness reaches others.

And when success comes, don’t let me forget where it came from.

Keep my heart grateful.

Keep my motives pure.

Keep Jesus at the center.

Because I don’t want to build something that makes me successful but spiritually empty.

I want to build something that honors You.

Father, bless my business, not simply so I can have more,

but so I can do more good with what You place in my hands.

May every increase become an opportunity to give.

May every profit become an opportunity to serve.

May every open door become an opportunity to glorify You.

The Award Is More Than a Recognition.

Being recognized as one of the Top 5 Rookies in our branch, among hundreds of rookies, is something I’m deeply grateful for. 🥰

But behind this award is just a normal woman, si Marjorie. 😊

A woman who loves to travel, explore, and enjoy life.

A coach who loves guiding and helping people grow.

A daughter and a sibling who wants to protect her family.

A friend who genuinely cares for the people she loves.

And a Financial Advisor who chose this profession not simply to chase sales or be on top—but because she genuinely believes that being prepared can change a family’s story.

Because behind every policy is a family.
A child’s future.
A parent’s savings.
Someone’s dreams.
Years of hard work that deserve to be protected.

Maybe to some people, insurance is just another expense.

You Don't Become Strong by Staying Comfortable 🫣

One thing life has taught me is that growth rarely happens when everything feels comfortable.

As an athlete, I learned that you don't become stronger by avoiding difficult training.
I learned that sometimes you have to push someone a little further—not because you want them to struggle, but because you know they're capable of more.

And as a woman building my own life, I've learned the same lesson.

There have been moments when I've doubted myself.

Moments when I've had to start again.

Moments when I've had to make decisions without knowing exactly how things would turn out.

But maybe that's what growing up really means.

You learn to move forward even when you're uncertain. 💪

You learn to take responsibility for your choices. 👊

You learn that no one else can build your future for you.

You have to take ownership of it. 🫵

That's one of the things I value about being a Financial Advisor.

Every client has a different starting point.

Different income.
Different responsibilities.
Different dreams.

There is no one-size-fits-all financial plan.

Sometimes, the first step isn't earning more or investing more.

Sometimes, it's simply becoming aware.

Understanding where your money goes.
Knowing your risks.
Knowing what you're protecting.
And having the courage to start where you are.

You don't need to have everything figured out today.

The Client I Never Met, But Will Never Forget

She was never my client.

She was the client of one of my co-agents.

But her story is one I'll never forget.

She was only 29 years old.
Single mom.
May dalawang anak—11 years old at 2 years old.
Katulad ng maraming magulang, hindi madali ang buhay. Kailangan niyang pagkasyahin ang budget para sa pagkain, bills, tuition, at lahat ng pangangailangan ng mga anak niya.

Sa totoo lang, marami siyang dahilan para sabihin na, "Next time na lang muna."

But she didn't.

Instead, she chose to prioritize protection. ❤️ She chose PRU.

Imagine sa gitna ng tight budget. Nagawa nya pang mag tabi ng 100 per day.
Not because she had extra money.
Not because life was comfortable.
Kundi dahil alam niyang may dalawang batang umaasa sa kanya. 🥹

Sinabi niya daw habang nag-uusap sila.

"Hindi ko alam ang mangyayari bukas. Ang alam ko lang, gusto kong handa ang mga anak ko kung sakali. Dahil sa akin lang sila umaasa. Gusto kong protektahan future nila." 💞

Just three months after getting her life insurance, an unexpected accident happened.

She slipped in the bathroom, hit her head, suffered a hemorrhage, and sadly passed away. 😭

Ang sakit.

Lalo na kapag alam mong napakabata pa niya.
At mas lalong masakit isipin ang dalawang batang naiwan.

Pero sa gitna ng lungkot, may isang bagay na tumatak sa isip ko.

Hindi niya hinintay na maging mayaman. Kahit na alam nyang bata at healthy pa sya, hindi sya nag dalwang isip.

Alam nyang ang buhay ay unpredictable.
Hindi niya hinintay ang "tamang panahon."
Hindi niya hinintay na maging perfect ang sitwasyon.
She simply did what she could, while she still could.

At doon ko mas lalong na-realize...

Life insurance isn't really about death.

It's about love.

It's about a parent who wants to make sure that even if life takes an unexpected turn, the children they love will still have something to hold on to.
That story also reminded me of something else.

Life is fragile.

So while we're busy building our careers and chasing our dreams, let's not forget to live.

Spend time with the people you love.

Share meals.
Take photos.
Travel together.
Laugh often.
Create memories.

Because one day, those ordinary moments will become the memories we treasure the most.

And while we're creating those memories, let's also prepare for tomorrow.

Not because we're living in fear.
But because love plans ahead. ✅✅✅

If your loved ones are with you today, don't wait for a special occasion.

Tell them you love them.
Go home.
Hug them.
Spend time with them.

And if you've been thinking about protecting your family's future, maybe today is a good day to start that conversation.

Because we can't control tomorrow.
But we can choose to protect the people we love—today. ❤️

As I grow older, I appreciate my parents in ways I never fully understood when I was younger.

The older I get, the more I realize that life's greatest treasures aren't things—they're the moments we share with the people we love.

Meals with my family. That simple call from my parents saying, "Kakain na!" so we could all eat together. 🥹🥰

Growing up, we were never the showy or affectionate type.
That's just how our family was.
Hearing the words "I LOVE YOU!" felt a little cringey for all of us. 😅
But I guess every family has its own love language.

For us, it was the simple kwentuhan at the dining table. 😊The chismisan after a long day.
The quiet comfort of knowing someone is always there for you.
The meals our parents prepared every single day. Their support wasn't always spoken, but you could always feel it. ♥️

As children, we often think these moments will always be there.

But growing up teaches us otherwise.

As a daughter, I've learned to treasure every chance I get to spend time with my family—especially with my parents.
As we grow older, they grow older too. 🥺

Life outside our homes is already demanding, stressful, and unpredictable.

That's why I believe our homes should always be our safe place.

Make time for the people you love.

Put your phone down.

Listen to their stories.

Take photos.

Travel together.

Celebrate the ordinary days, not just the special occasions.

Because memories are something no one can ever take away from us.

Time is precious. Once it's gone, we can never get it back.

And because we love our families so deeply, we also want to protect them from the burdens we can prepare for today.

That's why I believe in life insurance.

Not because it can ever replace love—it never will.

But because it's one way of saying,
"Even when I'm no longer around, my love and care will continue."

Love them with your time today.

Protect them for tomorrow.

Both are priceless. ❤️

Looking for a Purpose Beyond a Paycheck.

Bata pa lang ako, malaking parte na ng buhay ko ang Taekwondo. Started it when I was just 9 years old.
Doon ko natutunan na hindi lahat ng laban panalo. Hindi lahat ng success instant. Kailangan ng disiplina, consistency, patience, at lakas ng loob para bumangon sa bawat challenge.

Hanggang ngayon, dala-dala ko pa rin ang mga lessons na 'yon sa bawat aspeto ng buhay ko.
Eventually, naging Taekwondo coach ako ng mga bata. At doon ko mas na-realize na iba pala ang fulfillment kapag nakikita mong unti-unting natututo at lumalakas ang loob ng isang bata. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam makita silang mas nagiging confident, mas matatag, at mas naniniwala sa sarili nilang kakayahan.

Habang tumatagal, naisip ko... baka ito talaga ang purpose ko—ang mag-guide, mag-share ng kaalaman, at makatulong sa ibang tao.

Ngayon, bilang Financial Advisor, ganoon pa rin ang ginagawa ko—iba lang ang arena.

Hindi lang ako nag-uusap tungkol sa insurance. Mas gusto kong makinig sa mga pangarap ng bawat pamilya, sa mga goals nila, at maging sa mga worries na madalas hindi nila nasasabi sa iba. Gusto kong matulungan silang magkaroon ng mas secure at mas worry-free na future, lalo na't hindi lahat nagkaroon ng pagkakataong matuto tungkol sa financial literacy.

Outside of work, mahilig akong mag-travel, mag-explore ng nature, at gumawa ng memories kasama ang pamilya at mga kaibigan. Doon ko mas lalo nare-realize kung gaano kahalaga ang bawat moment at ang mga taong mahal natin.

At dahil mahalaga sila, naniniwala akong deserve din nilang magkaroon ng protection.

Hindi ako nananatili sa career na ito dahil lang sa income.

Nananatili ako dahil alam kong bawat tamang conversation pwedeng maging simula ng mas secured na future para sa isang pamilya.

At para sa akin, iyon ang tunay na success—ang makagawa ng positibong impact sa buhay ng iba.
