Hundreds of real estate developments across the country are facing regulatory action for failing to comply with legal requirements on socialized housing, according to housing officials.

The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) said that roughly 600 projects were found to have violated the Balanced Housing Development Program (BHDP) under Republic Act 7279, as amended by Republic Act 10884. The violations were uncovered as part of the agency’s ongoing Zero Backlog Program, which reviews pending applications and compliance records of developers nationwide.
