Everything you need to know about the Philippine's first Subway: THE METRO MANILA SUBWAY PROJECT🚊✨
This is the Philippines’ first-ever underground railway system that will span 17 stations, connecting key areas across Metro Manila — including Valenzuela, Quezon City, Pasig, Taguig, and Parañaque, with a spur line to Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
⏱️ Travel time is expected to be reduced from more than 1 hour to just around 35 minutes.
And what makes it even more exciting? The Subway will connect with other major rail lines, creating a more integrated transportation network:
🚊 North Avenue
- Direct connections to LRT-1 (Green Line)
- MRT-3 (Yellow Line)
- MRT-7 (Quezon City to Bulacan)
🚊 Anonas
- Direct connection to LRT-2 (Purple Line).
🔜 FUTURE CONNECTIONS
🚊 Ortigas
- Planned connection to MRT-4, linking Metro Manila to Rizal.
🚊 Senate–DepEd, FTI & Bicutan
- Planned connection to the North–South Commuter Railway (NSCR), connecting Clark, Pampanga to Calamba, Laguna.
This isn’t just another train line — it’s a major step toward a more connected Metro Manila, making it easier to move between business districts, residential communities, and the airport. 🇵🇭
