A family of three who lives in NY has recently flown here to Manila to check out the DMCI projects.

The husband, a foreigner, has been nothing but eager to invest with DMCI here in the Philippines as he has been researching and comparing developers here in the country for quite some time. The wife, a Pinay, was very inquisitive to make sure that their investment will be in the best project fit for their family’s needs and wants during the tripping we had around several DMCI projects here in the metro.

DMCI ~ is the country’s first real estate firm to be recognized as a Quadruple A contractor.

The notice on DMCI Homes’ upgraded category was released last January 18 by Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), the implementing arm of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP) under DTI.

The quad A license given to DMCI Homes is currently the highest given to firms that satisfy the institution’s requirements. This also allows the AAAA builder-developer to qualify to be invited to foreign bids.

“The categories are defined on the basis of financial capacity, building experience, and expertise of technical personnel, among others. The AAAA license just signifies our building capabilities. After all, we are a company of builders, through and through, and we are proud of it,” says DMCI Homes AVP Jan Venturanza.

The Quadruple A category was the latest addition to the classification of general engineering and general building following an amendment in The Contractor’s License Law based on CIAP Board Resolution No. 8-2015. Other categories are AAA, AA, A, B, C and D.
