We were honored to join the Organization of Socialized and Economic Housing Developers of the Philippines (OSHDP) for their 2nd Regional Housing Visit, held in Cebu City under the theme "Bridging the Gap: Aligning National Housing Mandates with Local Realities."

Alex Samuel had the privilege of speaking on "Cebu Real Estate Market Outlook: Opportunities and Risks for Socialized and Economic Housing Developers," sharing insights on the market forces, policy directions, and regulatory developments shaping the region's housing landscape.

Savills Philippines COO Cha Carbonell is sparking a national conversation on the PEZA Metro Manila moratorium, and BusinessWorld is taking notice. Her policy brief, "Lifting the PEZA Metro Manila Moratorium: A Green Building Accreditation Framework," makes the case that Metro Manila doesn't need a blanket lift of the freeze on new IT accreditations. It needs a smarter filter: open the door only to buildings that meet real green certification standards like LEED, BERDE, EDGE, or WELL.
