Opportunities to learn often happen beyond the classroom. ✏️📖 We welcomed 45 scholars from the Upskills+ Foundation Inc. as part of the Lakbay Aral Project organized by the Rotary Club Makati Uptown and Philippine Global Explorer.

Through visits to our office and Seven/NEO, the students were introduced to different aspects of the modern workplace, including sustainability features, wellness-focused spaces, and the many people and professions that help bring buildings and communities to life.

We were honored to share our spaces and experiences with these young learners as they continue exploring the paths and possibilities that lie ahead.

At the International WELL Building Institute - IWBI WELL 2026 Summit in Tokyo, our Chief Operations Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer, Gie Garcia, received the WELL Executive Award. The award recognizes C-suite executives who play an active role in expanding the adoption of WELL. She is the first and only recipient in Asia, and one of only two recipients across the Asia-Pacific region.

The event also marked another milestone for NEO, with recognition through the Health and Safety Leadership Award, Equity Leadership Award, and WELL Community Award.

These recognitions reflect our shared commitment to creating spaces that support people, strengthen communities, and elevate the office experience. Creating healthier, more equitable, and people-centered spaces has always been central to how we move forward.

Our President Charlie Rufino, CEO Raymond Rufino, and CCO Carlo Rufino welcomed participants from Urban Land Institute Philippines - ULI to Makati Central Square, a space rooted in the family’s legacy and continuously evolving with purpose. 📽️🛍️

Walking through MCS, the experience showed how legacy spaces stay relevant by introducing fresh concepts while staying grounded in their identity. The mall reflects a deliberate effort to remain active, connected, and responsive to its community.
