Week 2: Organic Adlai planting , Gulian / Kibuya variety courtesy Department of Agriculture - Philippines Malaybalay

1. Germinate Adlai seeds for 4 hrs , max 8 hrs per instructions from DA and video posts, use lukewarm water and set aside.

2. Area 1 soil prep includes biochar inoculation w FPJ (fermented plant juice ) + tea manure

3. Water as needed 1-2 times weekly when soil visibly dry . Do not oversoak to avoid rot and or unwanted fungus. 😹

4. This is not the time to let your backyard chicken or ducks to let loose , otherwise free tuka of Adlai seeds mangyayari 😿🫶👏wait until the growth reaches at least 8 inches to 1 ft. Chicken a and ducks can be your natural pest control .

Good morning Ka-Adlai , responsible farming starts with adapting the most basic ancient proven farming techniques, that's sustainable and fail proof organic practices done right . Ultimately, giving the most bountiful harvest from year one and not just for 1 sea*on but up to the next generations.

Lets plant Adlai # Adlay

Week 1 : soil preparation , soil rejuvenation

Day 1 -2 prepare , soil - we advocate for no tilling , but since this farm has been used as pasture land for years, the native grass and weeds are so dense, we don't have a choice but to opt for the minimal tilling by hand , after day 2 , hard workers almost surrendered Wilson and intawon - "mag daru sa kabaw nanlang jud Ta Ma'am - guba ang guna , sundang , kamot Ta ani 🫣😿

Day 3-5

Prepping our Bio Char ( organic wood char)

Full inoculation or Charging
English - soaking
Sa Bisaya Humolan
Tagalog -Ibabad

at least 48 hrs or 2 weeks or 2 months for maximum efficiency

Soak or inoculate in FPJ ( fermented plant juice + Manure Tea

Day 6 - final soil prep for planting

Day 7 - rest as God rested on the 7th day 👏.
