LOOK | DAVAO CITY MICE BUILDING AS OF SEPTEMBER 2025

The City Government of Davao is on track to finish the Multi-Purpose MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) Building by the end of this year. The five-storey landmark will feature an amphitheater on the upper floors, modern meeting rooms, and a dedicated pasalubong display area that will showcase the best of Davao’s local products.

Originally known as the Pasalubong Center, the project’s second phase began in 2024. It will rise prominently along Palma Gil Street in Barangay 4-A, Población District, right beside the Davao City Investment and Promotion Center (DCIPC) and just steps away from People’s Park.

The facility is designed to serve as another prime venue for conventions, exhibitions, and tourism-related events. Once completed, the MICE Building is expected to further boost Davao City’s position as a leading hub for business, culture, and tourism in Mindanao.

LOOK | AZUELA COVE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE—SNEAK PEEK OF HOTEL AND HIGH STREET EXTENSION

The 25-hectare Azuela Cove in Lanang, Davao City, is steadily taking shape as Ayala Land’s second major estate development in the city, following the success of Abreeza-Ayala Business Park.

Located directly across Azuela High Street—Davao’s counterpart to Bonifacio Global City’s iconic High Street—preparatory works, including clearing operations and soil testing, are underway for a 10-storey office tower. Over the next five years, the estate will see the rise of its first office tower and hotel, further solidifying its position as a premier mixed-use waterfront community.

Investor activity has already gained momentum: Lot 1 has been sold, underscoring strong market confidence in the project. Meanwhile, Lot 2 is currently available at ₱337 million, with a prime lot size of 1,794 square meters.
