Upon close coordination with our Rapid Assessment Team, which was tasked to examine the structural integrity and safety of our buildings in light with the recent ground-shaking today, and along with their recommendation, I hereby lift the suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, as well as the work in government offices, in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental. Classes and work shall resume tomorrow, October 14, 2025.
However, our Rapid Assessment Team will continue to monitor the potential occurrence of similar events and provide updates to ensure everyoneβs safety, as we stay vigilant during these unpredictable times.
In the exigency of service, public and private schools may also conduct a full Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) on their classes subject to the discretion of their school heads, principals, and/or school officials, especially in the hinterland communities.
Rest assured that our concerned offices and agencies will be on high alert in cases of emergency.
