ATTENTION - SCAMS
You must have noticed on the Internet that the Pi Logo, as well as the name "Pi Network" is used on some websites or applications. These are all scams that you should avoid in a big circle. Here are some important things you should know about scams:
1. Never, ever, NEVER leave your Pi app password with anyone, especially not the PASSphrase of your Pi wallet. Pi Network will NEVER ask you to do this, so if anyone does, know that they are scammers.
2. Never buy from unverified online stores that accept Pi and never transfer your Pi to unverified addresses of other people's Pi wallets, no matter how attractive the offered goods seem to you in appearance and/or price.
3. Do not buy Pi cryptocurrency on crypto exchanges. Our Pi token is not listed on any crypto exchange, so if you see a crypto with a similar "Pi" name, know that it is not our Pi. At this stage of the Closed Mainnet, buying and selling our Pi is not allowed and is punishable.
4. Do not download fake "Pi Apps" that use the Pi Network logo, colors and design, or even a name that is the same or similar. These are scam apps or sites whose only goal is to get your information that you will provide during registration. We regularly inform you about our official applications and share links to our official pages and social networks. Only they are safe.
5. Do not respond to emails or phone calls received on behalf of Pi Network. Pi Network doesn't do that, so you should know right away that these are scam attempts. Block such calls immediately and report the email messages to "Report phishing".
I hope this will help you avoid getting into unwanted similar situations. There will be more scams, so be careful and good luck!
