Zamboanga City ranks as Mindanao’s third richest city in terms of total assets, next only to Davao City & Butuan City based on the latest Annual Financial Report of the Commission on Audit (COA).
As of the latest COA data, Zamboanga City posted total assets amounting to ₱25.113 billion, significantly higher than most cities in Mindanao and the richest in the Zamboanga Peninsula Region.

The city’s strong equity position reflects prudent fiscal management, with relatively low liabilities compared to its asset base.
