Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely demise of our esteemed resident scholar, Sh. Hadi Saliddin, the beloved President of the Hadi Islamic Institute.

Sh. Hadi Saliddin was not just a leader but a guiding light for our community at Blue Homes Executive Mosque. Since first gracing our newly-built mosque in 2013, Sh. Hadi dedicated himself tirelessly to the service of Islam and our congregation. His legacy is etched in the hundreds of lectures he held, the Friday khutbahs he delivered, and the prayers he led, including Taraweeh, Tahajjud, and Eid Salahs.

Sh. Hadi’s wisdom and knowledge enriched our lives and our faith. His teachings have left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of learning from him. He was a beacon of Islamic knowledge and a source of spiritual strength for us all.

As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life and the immense contributions he made to our community. We ask Allah (SWT) to grant Sh. Hadi Saliddin the highest place in Jannah and to provide patience and strength to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

We also make du'aa that justice will prevail for his killing. Sh. Hadi’s untimely departure is a profound loss, and we earnestly pray that those responsible for this heinous act are brought to justice. If the justice of this dunya (world) fails, we find solace in the knowledge that Allah’s justice is absolute and unfailing. We trust in Allah’s ultimate wisdom and mercy, knowing that true justice lies with Him. Allah yarhamhu.

Let us honor his memory by continuing to seek knowledge and practice the teachings of Islam, as he so passionately encouraged us to do.
