𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 — 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲.

It started with a push to show up more on this page, but somewhere along the way, the hesitation crept in. Putting yourself out there — personally and professionally — is no small thing. But I know that showing up is part of the journey, and growth doesn't happen in hiding. 🌱

This month I was also a mom first. Alhamdulillah, I found a reliable babysitter I can trust with my little ones — that alone felt like a huge win. We even snuck in a morning date as a family at Paseo del Mar, watching the sea and sharing satti at Iya's Coffee (Lantaka Branch). Those quiet moments are everything. 🌊

I missed two client meetings because life called louder. It stung. It still does. But I believe that choosing what matters most in the moment plants seeds for better things ahead. And even while away, I was still able to coordinate a transaction with the help of my co-broker. Real estate doesn't stop — and neither do I. 🏡

We observed the Day of Arafah, and fasting while pregnant felt impossible — but I made it through. Alhamdulillah. Though Eid'l Adha was quieter than I hoped since I wasn't feeling my best, the warmth of family and loved ones around me filled my heart. 💖

May was real. Messy, meaningful, and mine.

Here's to June — may it bring us all better health, bigger blessings, and more open doors. 🗝️

“𝐍𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐚 𝐘𝐄𝐒.” 🚩

Before my first commercial deal, I wish I knew these 3 things:

✔️ A verbal agreement is not enough.
Without a binding broker’s contract, your time, effort, and commission can easily go unrecognized.

✔️ Protect the listing before sharing information.
Coordinate with the landlord or seller first and verify serious buyers or tenants. Ghosting and bypassing happen more often than people think.

✔️ Learn when to walk away.
Some transactions come with too many red flags. Trusting your instincts can save your reputation, energy, and peace of mind.

Real estate is more than closing deals.
It’s about protecting relationships, professionalism, and your value as a broker.

This past year in real estate tested me in ways I didn’t expect. Deals falling through, dramas, delays, and moments that made me question my pace and direction.

But it also taught me something valuable: setbacks don’t mean you’re off track, they’re part of the process that shapes you into a better individual.

In between the challenges, there were quiet wins which I'm grateful for. Closing a unit, helping my cousin secure his first property, and building meaningful connections in the industry.

And now, with a baby on the way, my “why” has become even clearer and purposeful.

This season is different than mosts in the field. But maybe that's the point, we have our own story to tell.
