That was our battle cry during the RESA INFO DRIVE: EDUCATE + LEGITIMIZE in Brgy. Sta. Barbara!

On October 2, 2026, the BS Real Estate Management program of the College of Business and Management, Southern City Colleges, successfully concluded its RESA Info Drive & Marketing Campaign: EDUCATE + LEGITIMIZE at the Brgy. Sta. Barbara Covered Court, Zamboanga City.

The drive aimed to empower residents with knowledge on RA 9646, reminding everyone that real estate service is a regulated profession. Only PRC-licensed practitioners are legally allowed to transact and receive commission.

Our heartfelt thanks to Zamboanga City Legal Office (Atty. Jahiddin Handang), Punong Barangay Hon. Junaid Musa, and SK Chairman Hon. Ramil S. Asdi for championing a scam-free, legitimate real estate industry.

A day of learning, inspiration, and opportunity! 🌟 The Criminology students of SCC joined us for an enriching Product Knowledge Seminar (PKS), showing their eagerness to explore beyond their field and learn about the exciting world of real estate. 🏡📚 Even with the challenging weather, your presence made the event even more meaningful! 🙌

Before the seminar proper, participants were introduced to the world of Real Estate and the laws that govern it by Mr. Timothy Dominique M. Cabasag, one of the BS Real Estate Management (BSREM) students of SCC. 💼📘

The session continued with Filinvest Land Zamboanga Inc., where students gained valuable insights into the real estate industry in the Philippines, explored Filinvest’s various projects and offerings, and discovered the career opportunities that await in this dynamic field. 🌇✨

The event was spearheaded by the BSREM students of SCC, under the supervision of Program Head Mr. Razmon Kulayan and with the utmost support of the Dean of the College of Business and Management, Dr. Junaira Ilimin Tero 👏

It was made even more special with the presence of Ma’am Happot Ting , Ma’am Ivy, and Ma’am Johona from Filinvest Land Inc., who generously shared their time, knowledge, and experiences with the students. 💬💡
