Or is the rain in itself the villain of our urban landscape?

The rain did not break Lahore. It confessed.

Water always remembers the road we stole.

We paved its path and sold the plots.

In Defence, families crossed home by boat.

The sky is not the villain here.

We drown in the cities we built.

So who gave us permission to build?
