MAIN CARRIAGEWAY OF RAWALPINDI RING ROAD 99% COMPLETE AS FINAL WORK CONTINUES
The main carriageway of the 38.3-kilometer Rawalpindi Ring Road project has reached 99 percent completion, with Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Salman Ghani confirming that remaining ex*****on work is moving forward rapidly.
The arterial route stretching from Banth Mor on GT Road to Thallian Interchange is nearing full operational readiness, aiming to permanently divert heavy commercial traffic away from central urban arteries in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Main Carriageway Progress: Civil construction and asphalt work on the main 38.3-kilometer dual carriageway stand virtually complete at 99 percent.
Final Infrastructure Work: Engineering crews are executing final site tasks, including toll plaza construction, installation of lampposts, lane markings, drainage corridors, and perimeter fencing.
Interchanges & Connectivity: Construction is in advanced stages across five major interchanges located at Banth, Chak Beli Khan Road, Adiala Road, Chakri Road, and Thallian to ensure seamless traffic dispersal.
