طبی شعبے میں فوری اصلاحات کی اشد ضرورت ہے۔ آج غریب آدمی اسپتال جانے کے بجائے مر جانا بہتر سمجھتا ہے، کیونکہ علاج، فیسیں اور ادویات عام آدمی کی پہنچ سے باہر ہو چکی ہیں۔

یہ انتہائی افسوسناک اور غلط عمل ہے کہ مریضوں پر مہنگے ٹیسٹ مسلط کیے جائیں، بعض اوقات ڈاکٹر مخصوص نجی لیبارٹریوں اور افراد سے ٹیسٹ لکھواتے ہیں، جو سراسر ناانصافی ہے۔ صحت بنیادی انسانی حق ہے، کاروبار نہیں۔

میری متعلقہ حکام سے اپیل ہے کہ ڈاکٹرز کی فیس، ادویات اور تشخیصی ٹیسٹ مناسب اور سستے نرخوں پر یقینی بنائے جائیں، اور صحت کے نظام میں شفافیت اور احتساب کو لازمی بنایا جائے تاکہ غریب اور متوسط طبقہ باعزت علاج حاصل کر سکے۔
