The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has reformed regulations to facilitate banks for investment in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) to boost the housing and construction sector.

As per the new regulations, banks can now invest up to 15% of their equity in the Real Estate Sector. The limit was been increased from 10%.

According to Rawalpindi Commissioner Captain (retired) Muhammad Mehmood, the value of lands near the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) is increasing.

Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) will change the entire face of Rawalpindi. The project will be completed by end of 2023.

Prime Minister Imran Khan, handed over the keys of the 1,500 low-cost flats and houses developed under the Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP) initiative to laborers on Thursday.

The houses were distributed among widows and disabled, and laborers who were earning less than Rs 5 lakh.

The government is paying a subsidy of PKR 300,000 for each unit.

Let's see if the promise of 50 lakh homes by the PM will be fulfilled.

An LDA team retrieved 34-Kanal land from Mansha Khokhar alias Mansha Bamm in an operation carried out on Tuesday night.

The team led by the LDA town planning officials and police reached PIA Road near Johar Town’s D/2 block and launched a major operation to demolish the illegal structure at the state land allegedly occupied by the men of Mansha Bamm.

The team demolished all structures and evicted those occupying the land.

ٹیم نے تمام ڈھانچے مسمار کردیئے اور زمین پر قبضہ کرنے والوں کو بے دخل کردیا۔
