To apply for the extension of the Sole Representative visa, you should either be working as a representative of an overseas business or an employee of a news agency, overseas newspaper, or broadcasting organisation. Besides, you must still be working for the same employer who has sponsored your visa previously. The principal place of your employer’s business should still be outside the UK. Can prove the eligibility once again by providing all the relevant documents and applying for sole representative visa extension. The visa holder and the dependants are required to pay a nominal amount of fee to get the visa extended for up to two more years after the initial period of 3 years. UK Settlement can be applied if the applicants have been in the UK for 5 years and have the job with the same employer.

Eligibility Requirements for Sole Representative Visa -Extension

Applicants must already have a visa as either:

1. A representative of an overseas business OR
An employee of an overseas newspaper, news agency or broadcasting organisation
2. An applicant is still working for the same employer as when he/she was issued the previous visa
3. An applicant should be in the UK if he/she wants to extend the visa
4. Employer's main place of business is still outside the UK
5. An applicant must also still be supervising as a sole representative the UK branch or subsidiary which was established for the overseas business.
6. Applicants must be in the UK when they need to extend their visas.

To be eligible for a High Potential Individual (HPI) visa, the requirements are:

β€’ Applicant must have been awarded a qualification from an eligible University
β€’ Must prove the Knowledge of English Language
β€’ Must have enough personal savings to support themselves in the UK, unless applicant has been in the UK for at least 12 months with a valid visa
β€’ Must have been awarded the qualification in the last 5 years

Qualifications must be comparable to:

β€’ A Bachelor's degree from the United Kingdom
β€’ A Postgraduate degree from the United Kingdom
β€’ PhD or doctorate from the United Kingdom

The High Potential Individual (HPI) visa can be applied for both inside and outside the UK. To ensure that qualification is valid and at the appropriate level, applicants must apply to Ecctis (previously UK NARIC). university's eligibility will not be checked by Ecctis. To apply, you do not need to have a job offer. This visa can only be applied for once and the applicant can stay for at least 2 years and 3 years if they have PhD or other doctoral qualification. UK Universities are not eligible for the High Potential Individual Visa category.

A person can apply for entry clearance for a British National (overseas) visa UK if he/she is a British National Overseas (BNO) citizen and resident in Hong Kong. The BNO visa UK will be granted for an initial period of either 2 year and 6 months or 5 years, and upon completion of 5 years with a BNO visa in the UK, you will be entitled to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR). The applicant must be at least 18 years old and should make a valid entry clearance application. Family members can also apply for this visa if they are eligible to apply.
