نیو گوادر انٹرنیشنل ایئرپورٹ 55.4 ارب روپے کی لاگت سے تعمیر کیا جائے گا۔
ایک نیا گوادر بین الاقوامی ہوائی اڈہ (NGIA) بنایا جا رہا ہے اور 2022 کے آخر میں مکمل ہونے پر یہ ملک کا سب سے بڑا ہو گا۔ 4,300 ایکڑ (17 km2) اراضی پر محیط، یہ گوادر شہر میں موجودہ ہوائی اڈے سے 26 کلومیٹر شمال مشرق میں گورندانی میں واقع ہے۔ NGIA پر 246 ملین ڈالر کی لاگت متوقع ہے اس کی مکمل مالی امداد چین نے بطور گرانٹ کی ہے۔
اس گرین فیلڈ ہوائی اڈے میں کارگو ٹرمینل کے ساتھ ساتھ ایک جدید ٹرمینل عمارت بھی شامل ہو گی، جس میں خراب ہونے والی اشیاء کے لیے ریفریجریشن کی سہولیات ہوں گی، جس کی ابتدائی ہینڈلنگ کی صلاحیت 30,000 ٹن سالانہ ہو گی. اس ہوائی اڈے پر Airbus A380 اور Boeing 747-8 جیسے بڑے اور ATR-72 اور Boeing 737-900ER جیسے تنگ جسم والے ہوائی جہاز کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کی صلاحیت ہوگی۔
اس کا ایک ہی رن وے ہوگا جس کی لمبائی 3,658 میٹر اور چوڑائی 75 میٹر ہوگی جس میں وسیع جسم والے طیارے کو ایڈجسٹ کرنے کی گنجائش ہوگی۔ دونوں اطراف کے لیے 10.5 میٹر کے پختہ شولڈر کے ساتھ 23 میٹر لمبائی کا ٹیکسی وے ہوگا۔ ہوائی اڈے میں پہلے رن وے کی شمالی سمت میں دوسرا رن وے بنانے کی صلاحیت بھی ہوگی۔ ائیر ٹریفک کنٹرول (ATC) ٹاور، کریش فائر اور ریسکیو سہولیات کے ساتھ ساتھ فیول پلیٹ فارم بھی بنایا جائے گا۔ CAA پاکستان نے نئے ہوائی اڈے کی تعمیر کا ٹھیکہ چائنا کمیونیکیشن کنسٹرکشن کمپنی (CCC) کو دیا تھا، جس کی تکمیل 2022 کے آخر میں متوقع ہے۔
The New Gwadar International Airport will be constructed at a cost of Rs55.4 billion.
A New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) is being built and will be country's biggest when completed in late 2022. Occupying 4,300 acres (17 km2) of land, it is located in Gurandani, 26 km north-east of the existing airport in Gwadar City on the south-western Arabian Sea coast of Balochistan region. NGIA is expected to cost $246 million. It is fully funded by China as a grant.
PM Imran Khan had laid down the foundation stone for NGIA on 29 March 2019.This greenfield airport will include a modern terminal building alongside a cargo terminal, with refrigeration facilities for perishable items, with an initial handling capacity of 30,000 tonnes a year. NGIA will have the capacity to accommodate aircraft wide body aircraft including Airbus A380 & Boeing 747-8 and including narrow body aircraft such as ATR-72 & Boeing 737-900ER.
It will have a single runway with 3,658 metres of length and a width of 75 metres that will have the capacity to accommodate wide bodied aircraft. A taxiway of 23 metres length alongside a 10.5 metre paved shoulders for both sides.The airport will also have the capacity to build the second runway in the north direction of the first runway. An Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower, crash, fire and rescue facilities will be built as well as a fuel farm. The CAA Pakistan had awarded the design to build contract of the new airport to the China Communications Construction Company (CCC), which is expected to be completed in late 2022.
