یہ ایک مخلصانہ گزارش ہے تمام اسکول انتظامیہ، والدین، اسکول وین ڈرائیورز اور متعلقہ حکام سے۔ پشاور اور گرد و نواح — خصوصاً چارسددہ، مردان، نوشہرہ اور صوابی — میں صبح کے اوقات میں شدید دھند معمول بن چکی ہے۔ دھند کے باعث حدِ نگاہ انتہائی کم ہو جاتی ہے اور معمولی سی غلطی بھی بڑے حادثے کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔ لہٰذا تمام اسکول انتظامیہ سے درخواست ہے کہ دھند کے دنوں میں اسکول ٹائمنگ کو قدرے آگے بڑھایا جائے، یا کم از کم اگر اسکول وین اور بچے دیر سے پہنچیں تو ان کے ساتھ نرمی اور تعاون کا مظاہرہ کیا جائے۔ وقت سے زیادہ قیمتی بچوں کی جان ہے — حفاظت کو اولین ترجیح دیں۔

ہم والدین اور اسکول انتظامیہ سے بھی درخواست کرتے ہیں کہ وہ ایسی اسکول وین اور کوسٹرز کو سختی سے منع کریں جو دھند میں اوور اسپیڈنگ کرتی ہیں یا ون وے/رانگ سائیڈ کا استعمال کرتی ہیں۔ اکثر ڈرائیور دھند کے دوران رفتار بڑھا دیتے ہیں کہ کہیں بچوں کو دیر نہ ہو جائے، مگر یہ سوچ بچوں کی زندگیوں کو خطرے میں ڈال دیتی ہے۔ چند روز قبل چارسددہ میں دھند کے باعث ہونے والا افسوسناک حادثہ اس بات کی واضح مثال ہے کہ دھند اور تیز رفتاری کا امتزاج کتنا تباہ کن ثابت ہوسکتا ہے۔

آخر میں ایک پرزور اپیل ٹریفک پولیس اور متعلقہ اداروں سے کہ اسکول وینز اور ٹرانسپورٹ گاڑیوں کی کڑی نگرانی کی جائے، خاص طور پر دھند کے موسم میں۔ جو گاڑیاں تیز رفتاری، غلط لین، یا دیگر خطرناک ڈرائیونگ کا مظاہرہ کریں، ان کے خلاف سخت قانونی کارروائی کی جائے۔ ہمارے بچوں کی زندگیاں سب سے زیادہ قیمتی ہیں — نظم و ضبط، صبر اور ٹریفک قوانین کی پاسداری ہی حادثات کی روک تھام کا واحد حل ہے۔

Assalam-o-Alaikum
This is a humble request to all school administrations, parents, school van drivers and authorities. In Peshawar and surrounding districts — including Charsadda, Mardan, Nowshera, and Swabi — dense fog is very common during morning school hours. During fog, visibility becomes extremely low and even a slight driving error can lead to a major accident. Therefore, we request all schools to kindly adjust school timings slightly during heavy fog days, or at least cooperate with vans and students if they arrive late due to fog conditions. Safety must always come before punctuality.

We also request parents and school administrations to strictly discourage school vans and coasters that drive at high speed or use the wrong side of the road. Many drivers push the vehicle faster during fog because they fear that children will get late to school; however, this practice puts the precious lives of children at serious risk. Recently, a tragic accident in Charsadda during fog is a clear example of how dangerous the combination of overspeeding and low visibility can be.

Lastly, we strongly appeal to Traffic Police and relevant authorities to monitor school vans more strictly during the fog season and take firm action against those who overspeed, drive on the wrong side, or violate safety standards. Our children’s lives are priceless — discipline, patience, and safety measures can prevent irreversible tragedies.
