🇹🇷 Alanya's history comes to life within the walls of its ancient fortress! ⚓️🏰
At the beginning of July, Alanya became the heart of celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Maritime and Cabotage Day—a national holiday that symbolizes Türkiye's maritime independence and its rich seafaring heritage.
🌊 One of the highlights of the celebration was a unique exhibition featuring ancient ship carvings engraved into the walls of Alanya Castle. Preserved for centuries, these remarkable images offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into the region's rich maritime past.
✨ The exhibition is also part of the celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the Red Tower (Kızılkule)—Alanya's iconic landmark that has welcomed visitors to the Mediterranean coast for hundreds of years.
