The Jayuya Balloon is the main attraction of the Tierra Alta Agroturistic Project. This is a totally unique experience here in Puerto Rico and there are currently only about 20 places around the world that offer such an experience. The Globo Aerostático in Jayuya is the highest in the world being located at an elevation of 3200 feet above sea level and when in full flight, riders will be at an elevation of around 3700ft.To arrive, we do not recommend depending 100 percent on the GPS, since it usually takes secondary routes. It is better to orient yourself with a map and follow the signs that lead to the project, you can use the GPS as a reference. In addition, not all mobile carriers have a signal in the center of the island. Finally, some GPS suggest the section known as the "Sec La Cuesta", it is a fairly steep slope; we do not recommend this stretch unless you have an all-terrain vehicle.Cost per adult is about $30 and $5 parking fee.
