This week we stopped by Butcherโ€™s Meat.Wine.Friends. on the old Ramey Base in Aguadilla. They have everything from lunch meat, beef, pork, and fish to specialty items.

We picked up these beef short ribsโ€ฆ seriously, look at the size of these things! ๐Ÿคค They turned out incredible.

This isnโ€™t just another rum distillery, itโ€™s the oldest rum brand in Puerto Rico, ๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ค๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ง๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ฅ ๐˜ต๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ ๐˜ธ๐˜ข๐˜บ ๐˜ด๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ค๐˜ฆ 1880. They age every batch in Oloroso sherry barrels and never add sugar, caramel coloring, or artificial flavors, which gives it a rich, smooth flavor thatโ€™s more like sipping a fine whiskey than a typical rum.

One thing a lot of people donโ€™t realize: while you MIGHT be able to find some bottles in the mainland U.S. and a few other countries, certain expressions (like the Four Stars) are only sold at the distillery in Bayamรณn.

Whether youโ€™re a rum lover or not, the tour is absolutely worth it. Itโ€™s one of those places that gives you a real taste of Puerto Rican history, craftsmanship, and culture. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ท

One of my favorite things about Puerto Rico is its food truck culture. Food truck parks are scattered all over the island, bringing people together over incredible food in a fun, laid-back atmosphere. What started as classic street food has grown into a creative culinary scene where talented chefs serve everything from authentic Puerto Rican favorites to bold international flavorsโ€”all from a food truck.

This weekโ€™s stop is Arte Sano Vegan Food, located in the PR-4466 Food Truck Park!

Whether youโ€™re vegan, vegetarian, or just someone who appreciates really good food, this place deserves a visit. Their menu features burgers, tacos, pizza, fresh juices, incredible desserts, and one of the best Sunday brunches around. If nobody told you it was plant-based, you probably wouldnโ€™t guess.

Be sure to check out a few of the other food trucks while youโ€™re there, and soak in the atmosphere. Itโ€™s a great way to experience Puerto Rico beyond the beaches.
