Today went on a little road trip with hubby Roqui..had been down an out with flue for past 12 days...needed a breather....oh what a breather...
On highway to Canical...then walked on the slopes of Sao Lourenço s nature park...some amazing hike trails ear marked...then onto Santana...some amazing views of mountains and valleys on our way there...met the owner of one the original Santana houses...Senhor Manuel...his house is 240 years old...and still in great shape.
Then onto Riberio Frio and pop into Camacha and back to Funchal.
