I tried the new cafe in garvao a few evenings ago. Run by a German couple who have lived in the area for 22 years, they offer some traditional portuguese cooking and a few variations. Very good prices and nice ambience. It’s probably the only restaurant in Portugal that has heating! Recommended.

I was taken out to lunch by a friend to Odeceixe today. it was a lovely restaurant overlooking the beach with very large portions of food at reasonable prices. Excellent, clean, spacious beach afterwards to laze around on and watch the surfers!
