A day out exploring📍Ferragudo

We have lots and lots of seafood restaurants to choose from near the villa however for slow lunches & a wonderful day out we recommend going to Ferragudo.

It's a charming fishing village w/whitewashed houses, narrow streets covered with flowers, and a fishing boats-filled harbour.

Two of our fave fish restaurants here are:

🐟 Restaurante Sueste located on the quayside - they grill your fish outside in the open air near your table.

🐟 Rei das Praias located on Praia dos Carneiros beach is our absolute must visit when we come home to the Algarve. It's family owned with spectacular beach side views and the food is exceptional. We always choose a grilled fish for the table and have an Algarvian tomato salad, potatoes & rice. Oh and the calamari for starters is 🤤

Chicken piri piri 🐔 Guia's greatest gift to mankind 🙌🏻

You can’t stay in the birthplace of piri-piri chicken without trying it for yourself and Guia is infamous for its wide selection of chicken restaurants. We haven’t tried them all (yet!) but our top two are O Teodósio &

Worth noting you can get takeaways from both restaurants if you want to enjoy at the villa. 🤘🏻

A twenty minute drive from Villa Harpista will get you to this little gem 💎

📍 The Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Rocha (Our Lady of the Rock) is located in the civil parish of Porches, in the municipality of Lagoa.

Boasting panoramic views over the coastline of the Algarve it's definitely a must visit. 🏖

That GOLDEN glow 🌅

A 10 minute drive from Villa Harpista is this beautiful beach - Praia da Galé 🏖 Rent a lounger & soak up the sunshine before having lunch in one of the neighbouring seafood restaurants or arrive just before sunset to grab a pitcher of sangria from the beachside bar. 🧡
