Honestly, Praia da Luz is one of the nicest places to live on the south-west Algarve.

It's a small village: calm, easy, everything within walking distance. Lagos is 10 minutes away if you need a city fix. The beach is long enough for a proper morning. There are hiking paths everywhere, surf most of the year, and the west coast just 20 minutes down the road.

People who live here are a real mix — Portuguese, expats, families. A genuinely nice place to live — all year round. We know, because the whole Luz-Bay team lives here. ;)
