Congratulations to Alex Koch de Gooryend who heads up the Portugal desk for Knight Frank in London.

At the weekend he completed his dream of cycling from his village of Long Crendon in Oxfordshire and ending in Lagos where he spent part of his childhood.

The 3,266 kms have been covered in different legs starting in 2017. The challenge was initially dreamt up along with friend Sami Hassan on a commuter train to London in order to get fit. They have certainly done that having climbed 3,266 kms on the 7 different challenges.

On Saturday 3rd they completed the journey travelling from Lisbon to Lagos via Monchique and Cape St Vincent raising over 20,000£ for charity - Andy’s Man Club - and a total of over 200,000£ since 2017.

Sophie and Nick Sadler joined them for a celebratory beer in Praia da Luz 🍻Well done Alex and his crew. 🙌
