Every memorable evening needs the right soundtrack. Ours came from . 🎧

Carl is a British international DJ, vinyl collector and soulful music curator who now calls Portugal home. He is also part of the diverse international community that made our Summer Rooftop Social so special.

Against the Lisbon skyline, Carl brought the evening to life through music. But behind the DJ booth is also a personal story of living in Portugal, finding connection and beginning a new chapter.

At moviinn®, our work does not end when someone arrives in Portugal or Spain. We want the people we support to feel welcomed, connected and part of something.

Our Summer Rooftop Social brought together clients, partners, entrepreneurs, professionals and friends from different countries and backgrounds for an evening above Lisbon.

In this second chapter from the event, our founder and CEO, James Muscat, shares a little of the spirit behind the evening and the community we are continuing to build.

Because settling into a new country becomes easier when you do not have to do it alone.

One rooftop. One summer evening. A community from around the world. ✨

On 24 July, we brought together clients, partners and friends of moviinn® for our Summer Rooftop Social at The Cloud One Hotel Lisbon.

With views over the city and the Gulbenkian gardens, Portuguese food, drinks, music and conversations that continued well into the evening, it was everything we hoped it would be: relaxed, welcoming and full of meaningful connections.

Because moving to a new country is not only about finding a place to live. It is also about finding your people.

This was the moviinn® community, together in Lisbon. 🇵🇹

for often exists just outside it. Places like Cascais offer something different, space, calm, and
over 300 days of sun, without losing access to the city. Close enough to stay connected. Far
enough to live differently. Because the real question isn’t where everyone is going. It’s where
you’ll actually live better.
