Spacious house for 1-8 persons, in a large garden with private swimming pool. It is located in a residential area near beaches and golf resorts.

Welcome to "Villa Fumone" - a spacious home for up to 8 guests with a large garden and private swimming pool. The home is set in a beautiful residential development, started back in 1970’s in the Western Algarve and located behind Penina Championship Golf Course, close to the town of Portimão. It is perfectly located for golfing or relaxing on one of the many small and secluded beaches along the Pacific coast. Enjoy rural Portugal and at the same time you are close to a major town – offering all commodities for your daily needs. Villa Fumone is a 10 minute drive from the exit Portimão West/Alvor on the highway A22 – and roughly 30 minutes from Faro airport. This page is directly linked to the owners – Barbara and Peter John. We had the chance to live in the Algarve ourselves – this the reason for the house. Not being able to travel to Portugal as often as we would like, we decided to offer our house to other "Algarve Lover`s". All reservation requests are channeled directly through us. We guarantee for exclusivity as well as personal service and are here to help with local tips or ideas for your stay.

Back in Prague, it is with some nostalgia I look back to my last visit to the Portimão Market and all the fantastic, fresh produce

Finally back to these great Portuguese tastes - the fantastic, home made sourdough bread, still baked in a wood oven .... happy to pass the "secret" address to guests staying at our home - and, a good, strong coffee at the local bar around the corner.

Two more days and I will be able to taste one or the other of these great Portuguese wines out on the terrace of Villa Fumone.....
