🔴Portugal é atualmente o terceiro país na Europa com um maior peso de população idosa (+ 65 anos) e em 2050 será o primeiro. E, apesar de ser dos países com maior esperança média de vida na Europa, é também onde o número médio de anos de vida sénior saudável é menor.
Em menos de 30 anos, mais de um terço da população residentem Portugal será sénior, o que equivale a um total de 3,3 milhões de pessoas (mais 1 milhão que os atuais 2,3). Para dar resposta a esta evolução demográfica, serão necessárias mais 55 mil camas em residências seniores, metade do que existe atualmente, de acordo com o estudo ‘Building a healthier and more thriving future’, divulgado pela CBRE, destacando a atratividade destes ativos para operadores e investidores.
