Embracing a holistic approach means considering the ecological, economic, social, and cultural facets of every project development.

At World of Satinka, we embody this philosophy by creating spaces that harmonize with their surroundings and uplift both people and the planet.

Nature’s lifecycle reminds us that nothing is truly wasted—everything transforms, evolves, and becomes part of something new.

From growth and decay to renewal and rebirth, nature demonstrates the power of circular systems.

This principle inspires our sustainable design and the circular economy, where products and materials are designed to be reused, repaired, transformed, and regenerated rather than discarded.

By learning from nature, we can create solutions that minimize waste, extend resource life, and contribute to a more resilient future.

At WoS, we design with nature’s wisdom in mind embracing cycles, not endings. 🌱♻️

🍀Design for Well-being

Biophilic design is more than a trend.

It's a thoughtful approach to creating spaces that support human health, happiness, and connection to the natural world.

Even small changes—more daylight, a few plants, or natural materials—can make a meaningful impact.
Which biophilic element would you add to your home first?

At WoS, we love showcasing inspiring innovations, and today’s spotlight is on sustainable glass.

has developed an innovative glass material made from discarded seashells collected from seafood restaurants and ash sourced from wood-fired pizzerias.

These resources are widely available locally around the world, making the process highly adaptable. Produced without chemical additives and requiring very little energy, this approach transforms waste into a beautiful and sustainable raw material.

The colors we choose for our homes can reflect the beauty of every season:

🌸 Spring: Soft greens, blush pinks, and pastel blues bring freshness and renewal.

☀️ Summer: Bright yellows, corals, and turquoise create energy and warmth.

🍂 Autumn: Terracotta, mustard, and deep burgundy add comfort and coziness.

❄️ Winter: Cool blues, greys, and crisp whites evoke elegance and calm.

At WoS, we think that a simple way to embrace seasonal design is by updating cushions, throws, artwork, and accessories while keeping a neutral base.

Which season's color palette inspires you the most? 💭

At World of Satinka, every project begins with intention.
Our approach to design is guided by a deep commitment to sustainability, material intelligence, and lasting value.

Each decision is carefully considered — from the way a space is experienced to how materials evolve over time — with the aim of creating environments that foster both well-being and responsibility.

This philosophy is embodied by our founder, Sylvie Meyer, whose vision continues to shape the studio’s identity:
“From the very beginning of World of Satinka, I wanted to create a design line that would complement our vision of sustainable spaces while remaining true to our core values: sustainability, creativity, and well-being.

Our ambition is to contribute positively to the respect of people, the planet, and life as a whole. Through recycling, upcycling, and repurposing, we strive to transform ephemeral or seemingly obsolete objects into pieces with enduring purpose and value.”

Because meaningful design is not only about creating —
it is about understanding what truly matters.

Design is not a final layer — it is a process of decisions made early and with intention.

When materials, light, and spatial flow are considered from the start, spaces require less correction, less energy, and fewer resources over time.

At World of Satinka, sustainability is built into the foundation of every project.

This year marks a natural evolution in our work — with an increasing presence in the South of France.

A region where climate, landscape, and architecture are closely connected. Where materials respond to heat and light, and where outdoor and indoor spaces are designed as one.
This shift is not a change in direction, but a continuation of our approach — designing in response to place, rather than independently from it.

Wood brings more than warmth into a space — it brings balance.

As a natural material, it regulates humidity, absorbs sound, and contributes to a more stable indoor climate. Its performance is quiet, but essential.

It also carries a sense of continuity — from structure to detail — allowing interiors to feel cohesive rather than assembled.
At World of Satinka, wood is not used as a finish.
It is part of how a space functions and endures.
