🎉 Critical Milestone Achieved! 🎉

We are excited to announce the successful completion of one of the most technically demanding phases of our luxury residential project, the excavation works, by dislodging the final cup of earth.

Over the past 3.5 years, this intricate process involved the removal of precisely 11,089 truckloads of material from the hillside, following the stabilization of the terrain with extensive retention systems.

This phase, which required advanced geotechnical planning and sequential ex*****on, presented numerous challenges in both engineering and logistics over this period. However, the meticulous effort and precision-driven approach of all our engineers and contractors have allowed us to overcome the obstacles that impacted our ex*****on timeline. With this critical phase behind us, we can now move forward with accelerated construction rythm, fully focused on delivering the exceptional quality and experience we’ve envisioned.

As of August 20, 2024, we have successfully completed the 12th and final phase of the arduous 70cm-thick mat-type foundation and the associated structural components. This accomplishment marks the culmination of the intricate 12-sequence reinforced concrete structure that supports an entire hillside, encapsulating our esteemed two-storey underground parking facility and the exclusive wellness area situated beneath it. 😀

From this point forward, our construction site now aligns with conventional operational standards leaving the highly challenging, night-sweats generating, nerve wrecking, time swallowing extraction and consolidation works behind, allowing us to concentrate on expediting routine tasks such as wall construction, plumbing & electrical installations and finishing works.

This shift in focus is intended to mitigate some of the delays that have arisen as indirect consequences of the extensive and demanding excavation, foundation and infrastructure works previously undertaken. 😎

Significant advancements have been achieved since our last update, with the completion of the 11th out of the 12 phases of the highly complex, 70cm-thick mat-type foundation and its associated structural components. 🙂

Consequently, Section #1 of the Donjon building is nearing readiness for vertical construction. Only one more challenging phase remains, specifically under the Parking Section of the Donjon building, after which our construction site will transition to a more standard operational state.

This will mark the conclusion of the extensive efforts involved in consolidating and excavating an entire hillside.

The completion of that phase will enable our structural contractors to fully utilize their capabilities, potentially recuperating some of the delays incurred as an indirect consequence of these substantial never-seen-before preparatory activities. 😎

For a better understanding of our unbelievably challenging journey of creating the most valuable residential project so far, nobody could ever reproduce, we have compressed the last two and a half years progression into 4 minutes of pure connoisseurs delight... :) there's no need for words here.

Just one more year to push through the most spectacular phase of the construction and we can all enjoy the homes we always dreamed about. ;)

We have made a significant progress since the last time, creating the 10th out of the 12 phases of our incredibly challenging, 70cm thick mat type foundation. Section #2 of the Donjon building is therefore ready to rise. 😁

Two more phases to go, the ones under the section #1 of the Donjon building, and our construction site will finally resemble a normal one, leaving the immense effort of consolidating and excavating a whole hillside behind, giving the opportunity to our structural contractors to unleash their full potential and hopefully recover some of the delay that came as an unfortunate by-product of this effort. 😎

A picture is worth more than a thousand words when it comes down to expressing the challenging nature of our specific task to build the countrys most exclusive and valuable residential masterpiece.

They say that sometimes the hardest part of a process is till you hit rock bottom. Anyway, by reaching the depth of a staggering 17 meters below ground level, it applies to our case literally. :)

We are thankful to our highly capable and daring engineers and contractors for having created the possible out of a seemingly impossible situation and therefore giving us the opportunity of delivering some of the most awesome homes money could buy.

So, if you'd ask yourself how's life going on lately at the country's definitely most challenging construction site, we have good news: after removing 100.000 tonnes of earth, we've just created the lowest-lying piece of foundation, the one that will sustain, among two storeys of underground parkings, the squash court within the wellness area. :)
