Cabana Mickhaela is a chalet located in the holiday village called Magherus - on ''Paraul Sec'' valley, close to the
Magherus Ski Slope (at a distance of 350 m), from Toplita city (4km), Harghita district.
The chalet is situated at 740m altitude, in a mountainous touritic area, at the foot of the Gurghiu Mountains. In the
nearby of the chalet there is Magherus ski slope, one of the most modern and popular slope from the area; durring the summer time the there are held riding courses. Behind the chalet there is a wooded hill with spruce, fir trees, pine trees, , willow trees and birch trees. In front of the chalet there is Paraul Sec stream passing, which has a debit of approximatelly 10L/sec. At 800 m upstream of the chalet there is a source of drinking water with a generous flow (~ 1 l / s). The cottage is 6km far from ''Stana lui Groza'' (Groza's sheepfold), 10km far from the mountain peak Batrana and in the same area there are the '' Stone Mushrooms'', too.

The construction of the chalet is generally made of wood; it is partially plastered and lightly insulated.
The footprint of the construction is of 72 sqm. At the ground floor there are two rooms (5x3m), a hallway (2x2.3m), a
bathroom (3x2,5m), a closed terrace (2,5x5m) and the entrance room. In the entrance room there are the stairs leading to the first floor. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms - 2 snall bedrooms and 2 big bedrooms, a bathroom, a small kitchen and a hallway.
Initially the chalet was a groundfloor vacation house . Later the construction was modifiend by adding a 1st floor, the
terrace and the stairs hall to the initial construction. It was built in 1994 and modified in 2001. It has been used for holiday
accomodation and partially for habitation.
The building's overall condition is good but it needs renovation.
The house is equipped with electricity , running cold water , heating installation which uses wood, thermo-electrical
boiler for hot water, minimal automation, water pumps, filters, water basin (12 mc), three-room septic fosse with a capacity of 40mc. In the yard there are a wooden shed with practicable attic and a wood shelter attached to the backside of the house.

The road to the chalet is 90% newly asphalted road (3.2 kms). The rest of the 10% (300m) is forest road in good
condition, practicable for any car with normal guard. In the future this road section is also planned to be asphalted. The public lighting is present up to the chalet right in front of the chalet, where there are 2 light poles.
