EXAM LEAKS ALLEGED. ⚠️

Questions from Professional Regulation Commission licensure examinations are allegedly being leaked to review centers, an issue raised by Sen. Raffy Tulfo during the Senate’s deliberations on the Department of Labor and Employment and its attached agencies’ proposed 2027 budget.

Tulfo alleged that some PRC regional directors have developed connections with review centers after remaining in the same posts for years, and claimed that some officials are involved in the leakage of board examination questions in partnership with review centers.

Sen. Joel Villanueva, who presided over the hearing, said reports of leaked board exam questionnaires were not new. He cited testimonials from previous examinees alleging that some questions being sold in Morayta and other bookstores later appeared in board examinations.

PRC Chairperson Charito Zamora said the commission is prepared to receive evidence and take appropriate action if the allegations are proven.

For thousands of Filipinos who spend months studying and preparing for licensure examinations, the integrity and security of every board exam remain essential to ensuring that all examinees compete under the same conditions.

The allegations raised in the Senate have not, by themselves, established that PRC examination questions are currently being systematically leaked, and further evidence and investigation would be needed to determine their extent and the individuals involved.

The Three Parts of the Broker Licensure Exam

Part 1: “I can do this!”�You enter prepared, confident, and ready to apply everything you studied.

Part 2: “Why does everything suddenly look difficult?”�The challenging questions arrive. Doubt starts creeping in, and the pressure becomes real.

Part 3: “I have given everything I have.”�Mental and physical fatigue set in, but this is where perseverance matters most.

The Lesson
A licensure examination does not only test what you know. It also challenges your discipline, patience, focus, time management, and ability to keep going when things become difficult.
If you encounter questions you cannot answer immediately, do not let one difficult question affect the rest of the examination. Pause, breathe, move forward, and return to it when possible.

How to overcome it:
- Trust the preparation you have already done.
- Read every question carefully.
- Manage your time instead of getting stuck on one problem.
- Stay calm when you encounter unfamiliar questions.
- Eliminate obviously incorrect choices when possible.
- Do not compare your progress with other examinees.
- Keep fighting until the very last question.

Most importantly, remember this:
You don't need to feel confident every minute to keep moving forward. Preparation brought you to the examination room, but perseverance will carry you through the difficult parts. One question at a time, one page at a time, until you finish.
