Lövsta Future Challenge
The vision of the Lövsta Future Challenge is to promote and develop Swedish equestrian sports by creating a broader base of Grand Prix combinations in jumping and dressage.

The LFC Jumping classes are divided into Young Horses and Under-25s and the finals will be decided during the Gothenburg Horse Show. The LCF International Dressage consists of one Grand Prix class and one Freestyle to Music (Kür).

The collaboration between GHS and Lövsta Future Challenge is entirely in line with the common goal of developing Swedish equestrian sports by giving young talent – both horses and riders – the right conditions to develop and be able to compete in the international Grand Prix.

ABOUT LÖVSTA FUTURE CHALLENGE

Through our national series, we give young horses and U25 riders the arena and conditions to advance towards the international top sport. In cooperation with the country’s top competition organizers, we offer the best combinations of riders and horses to gain the routine and experience needed. Equestrian sport is no one man show. We acknowledge not only the horses and riders but also the teams behind them, including; grooms, trainers, breeders, horse owners and sponsors. All are incredibly important for developing talent and keeping it in the country. Lövsta Future Challenge also strives to create forums where riders and equestrian professionals can exchange knowledge and work together towards a sport where the environment and horsemanship are central themes.

Horse Breeders are invited
The Lövsta Future Challenge aims to promote Swedish horse breeding and therefore chooses, together with the Gothenburg Horse Show, to invite the breeders of all Swedish-born horses to watch the final from the first row. It is hoped that the initiative will motivate breeders to continue to contribute to the future of Swedish showjumping.

LÖVSTA FUTURE CHALLENGE INTERNATIONAL DRESSAGE TOUR
Through a unique collaboration between Lövsta Future Challenge and FEI World Cup™ organizers Gothenburg Horse Show, Jumping Amsterdam and World Cup Vilhelmsborg, the new Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour, which is aimed at dressage U25 riders, is now launching. The concept creates opportunities for U25 riders to compete in the international arenas where FEI Dressage World Cup™ events are also held. Read the full press release here.🙂
